Privacy and accessibility
Short, because we keep very little.
01Who we are
Nisse Intelligence Inc. ("Nisse", "we") is a Canadian company. We're business analysts who build with AI for other businesses. This policy covers heynisse.ca and the information you send us through it. How we handle your customers' information when we work for you is covered in our terms and your agreement.
Questions, requests or complaints go to our privacy contact at hello@heynisse.ca. A person reads every message.
02What we collect
Only what you choose to give us:
- The free-look form. Your answers about your business (what kind it is, team size, where the hours go, what you'd do with more time, anything you type in the boxes), plus your name, your business name, your email, your website if you add it, and how you'd like to meet.
- Email. Your address and whatever you write to us.
- Booking a time. If you use our Calendly link, Calendly collects your name, email and booking details for us.
03How we use it
To reply to you, prepare for and run your free look, and talk about working together. That's it.
We don't add you to a mailing list. We'll only email you about your enquiry unless you ask us for more.
To prepare for a free look we may use AI tools, for example to summarise your answers. We use providers whose terms don't let them train on what we send, and we only send what the job needs.
04Who else handles it
We never sell or rent your information. A few service providers handle it on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts heynisse.ca and receives the free-look form | United States |
| Google Workspace | Our email | United States and other countries |
| Calendly | Booking a time, only if you use it | United States |
| AI providers | Helping us prepare, as described above | United States |
Because these providers store information outside Canada, it may be accessible to courts and authorities in those countries under their laws.
05How long we keep it
- If we don't end up working together, we delete your form answers and emails within 12 months.
- If we do, we keep them while we work together, then for as long as Canadian tax and business-record rules require (usually six years).
- Want it gone sooner? Ask, and we'll delete it unless the law says we have to keep it.
06Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, stop using it, or delete it. Email hello@heynisse.ca and we'll answer within 30 days.
If you're not happy with how we've handled it, tell us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
07Keeping it safe
The site only runs over HTTPS with strict security headers. Form submissions are stored in our hosting account, which only the people doing the work can open. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold small and the doors locked.
08Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies. If we ever add something that does, we'll update this page first and ask before setting anything that isn't essential.
09Accessibility
We want heynisse.ca to work for everyone, and we aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines. In practice that means:
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
- Images have text descriptions. The handwritten notes are real text, so screen readers read them.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the moving backgrounds, photo reveals and other animations switch off.
- Text meets contrast guidelines, and pages reflow on phones and when zoomed to 200%.
- The free-look form has labelled fields, error messages that say what to fix, and works without JavaScript.
If something gets in your way, email hello@heynisse.ca. We'll fix it, and we'll get you what you needed in another format in the meantime.
10Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes here with a new date. If a change affects information you've already given us, we'll tell you by email first.
